Georege Jameson Arms (Shield)
The shield of the arms attributed to George Jamesone as: "Argent a fessi wavy, azure, between three anchors." Motto, " Sine Metu " (Without Fear). The crest is a ship in full sail with a flag displayed. The shield, with bearings, is emblazoned in one of the eighty-four compartments into which the roof of the Aberdeen Town-Hall is divided." These arms are displayed on the cover of the book "The Scottish VanDyck," by John Bulloch.
