- Elizabeth, wife of William Jameson, is often listed as having died 22 November 1870, in Dublin. This is not true and no record of death in Dublin, for any Elizabeth Jameson can be found for that date. Furthermore, her 1897 death and 1898 Probate are clear and verifiable with official records. In addition, her husband William Jameson estate was granted (according to his probate record), "to Elizabeth Jameson of Roebuck Grove Widow of the sole Executrix" suggesting she was very much alive at the time of her husbands probate in February of 1887. (Roebuck Grove, is in Milltown, Dublin. Millltown is where Rev. Wm and Elizabeth Jameson were known to be living around this time and where Rev. Jameson officiated at severel of his grandchildren's baptisms.), [1]
