Alloa ? Death of Andrew Jameson, Esq, Sheriff-Clerk of Clackmannanshire ? This gentleman, who has been in infirm health for some time past, died at this residence, The Walk, on Thursday, night, at half past ten o?clock. Deceased, who was admitted a member of the Writers to the Signet in 1836, succeeded his uncle, the late Robert Jameson, Esq., in the offices of the Sheriff Clerk, Clerk to the Police Board, and Commissioners of Supply in 1849. Mr Jameson who never interfered or mixed himself up with public matters, was a kind, genial disposition, and, besides his family of four children, many a poor person will mourn his somewhat sudden decease. Hew as about 60 years of age, and his wife predeceased him.
