However, YDNA testing has shown several descendants of William and Sarah of Rockbridge Co., VA do not YDNA match to known descendants of James Jameson (m. Janet) of Lancaster Co., PA. This leads us to believe that this William in VA is not the son of James & Janet. Another Jameson researcher in VA suggests that Sarah could've been a Hodge. Nothing proven, but a Samuel Hodge did help her with her husband's estate after his death.
